The extension isn't working properly. What should I do?

If you are experiencing issues with the extension, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Refresh the Browser:

    • Try refreshing the Chrome browser by clicking the refresh button or pressing Ctrl + R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + R (Mac).
  2. Check Internet Connection:

    • Ensure you have a stable internet connection, as some features may require internet access.
  3. Restart Chrome:

    • Close all Chrome windows and reopen the browser. This can help resolve temporary issues.
  4. Update the Extension:

    • Ensure you have the latest version of the extension. Go to the Chrome Web Store and check for updates. Alternatively, go to chrome://extensions/ and click "Update" at the top.
  5. Disable and Re-enable the Extension:

    • Go to chrome://extensions/, find the extension, and toggle it off and then on again.
  6. Clear Browser Cache:

    • Clear the cache by going to chrome://settings/clearBrowserData, selecting "Cached images and files," and clicking "Clear data."
  7. Check for Conflicting Extensions:

    • Disable other extensions one by one to see if there is a conflict. Go to chrome://extensions/ and toggle off other extensions.
  8. Reinstall the Extension:

    • Remove the extension by right-clicking the extension icon and selecting "Remove from Chrome," then reinstall it from the Chrome Web Store.

If you encounter a bug or issue with the extension, please follow these steps to report it:

  1. Take a Screenshot:

    • Capture a screenshot of the issue. On Windows, you can use PrtScn or Snipping Tool. On Mac, you can use Shift + Command + 4.
  2. Gather Details:

    • Note down any specific actions that led to the issue, along with any error messages or unusual behavior observed.
  3. Send an Email:

    • Compose an email to our support team at support@verdinapps.com.
    • Include a clear description of the issue.
    • Attach the screenshot you took.
    • Provide any additional details that might help us understand and resolve the problem.
