How do I install the extension?

Step-by-Step Installation Guide:

1. Open Google Chrome:

   • Make sure you are using the Google Chrome browser, as the extension is specifically designed for it.

2. Go to the Chrome Web Store:

   • In your Chrome browser, navigate to the Chrome Web Store by typing chrome.google.com/webstore in the address bar and pressing Enter.

3. Search for the Extension:

   • In the Chrome Web Store, use the search bar at the top left corner to search for "YT Notes".

4. Select the Extension:

   • From the search results, find and click on "YT Notes". This will take you to the extension's page.

5. Add to Chrome:

   • On the extension’s page, click the "Add to Chrome" button. A confirmation dialog will appear.

6. Confirm Installation:

   • In the confirmation dialog, click "Add Extension". The extension will download and install automatically.

7. Check the Installation:

   • After installation, you should see the extension’s icon appear in the Chrome toolbar, to the right of the address bar.

8. Initial Setup:

   • Click on the extension icon in the toolbar. You may be prompted to sign in or go through an initial setup process to configure the extension according to your preferences.

Troubleshooting Installation Issues:

• Extension Not Appearing:

  • If the extension icon doesn’t appear in the toolbar, click the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) next to the toolbar. Find “YT Notes” in the list and click the pin icon to make it visible.

• Reinstallation:

  • If you encounter any issues, try removing the extension by right-clicking on the extension icon and selecting “Remove from Chrome,” then reinstall it following the steps above.

• Compatibility:

  • Ensure you are using an updated version of Google Chrome. The extension may not work properly on outdated versions.
